Stay out of the Washout, Bowl Competitively with the Right Bowling Balls
Almost daily I meet a part-time bowler ready to approach real bowling more seriously. Since this is your calling, you’ve stumbled upon a important turning point in growing as a real student of the game. This guide to “Bowling Like a Pro” stand as essential reading. The guys in your city’s bowling pro shop want bowlers tap bowling skills. There’s an old bowling adage, the bowling balls do all the work (after you roll them). That’s a joke. Fine, so it’s more complicated than that. It’s all good, with a little guidance we’ll make sure you’re rolling the best way we know how.
First, get a knowledgeable friend to help you purchase the specialized bowling shoes, balls and bowling ball bags. You’ll notice a difference with your own stuff. It’s no joke, have your personal ball fitted, and you’ll bowl more consistently. A brand name fitted bowling ball can make a substantial improvement in your game. Of course another critical matter is wearing actual bowling shoes which don’t stink like desanitizer
After you already acquired the right bowling ball and shoes, you’re ready for the number two piece of bowling advice: how to aim. When you hold the ball, don’t shoot for the pins. Line up using the arrows like a sight on a firearm. The reason? You’ll find it more effective to hit a target that is closer. To get the most out of your aim, make sure you line-up at the precise location on the wood every approach. If you do it the same every time you can adjust your aim using the arrows in the lane.
What do you make of hooks, to get ten pin explosion? That’s the third-most essential bowler tip. The secret is the pricy reactive ball. Many serious bowlers regularly roll at least two bowling balls to pull off amazing pin action, selected precisely for the type of game and lane. Word of warning: greenhorns might want to work with just one, and don’t get a ball that weighs a ton. Many pro bowlers travel with bowling balls featuring reactive materials. However you should know these special-made balls regularly make even decent players seem like they don’t know what they’re doing. And that does it for our first three bowling tips. I’ll be back with another 3 next month.
