Tinchy Stryder Praises Cheryl Cole
Tinchy Stryder has claimed that he was “not surprised” when Cheryl Cole’s ‘Fight For This Love’ became the fastest-selling single of the year so far.
The ‘You’re Not Alone’ star praised Cole and claimed that her popularity on The X Factor ensured that the song was a success.
“I’m actually not surprised, if I’m to be honest. It’s a good song and she’s really popular right now,” he told DS.
“The X Factor is a really powerful show and to be on there and perform, well you can’t go wrong with that. It’s just how the world works now. I met her before and she’s cool so I’m really happy for her.”
The rapper, who reached number two with second album Catch 22 in August, revealed that he would not turn down the opportunity to perform on The X Factor.
“If I was invited to perform I’d love to – when you see what it can do!” he said.
Stryder’s new single ‘You’re Not Alone’ is out now.
Tinchy Stryder would work again with Amelle Berrabah, the rapper has revealed.
The pair collaborated on his single ‘Never Leave You’ earlier this year which went straight to number one, and Tinchy would love to team up with the Sugababes star again to try and emulate their past success.
“Amelle is cool, man. I love her as a friend.” Stryder told the Mirror. “She’s totally down-to-earth. I really enjoyed working with her.”
As for Berrabah’s recent health problems and band trouble, Tinch adds: “I don’t really know the real reason between the band’s issues, so I can’t really say anything.”
“But I would work with Amelle again if we got into the studio.”
