American Airlines and Onward: Mr Nicholas Bredimus

Hailing from New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus examined the practices of hospitality, software, and airlines together and energized all three trades. His resume covers time-saving computer programs, airplane safety advancements, and even the design of high-value houses. He brings real passion to any and all areas, too. It could be predicted, mind you, that with his family tree he was always likely to reach the top. His family can trace its origins all the way to the era of ancient Rome and proudly boasts a diverse mix of nationalities. The maternal family came from Scotland and Germany. An equally unusual blend typifies his father’s branch — prior to emigrating near the end of the nineteenth century, the family lived in England and Luxembourg.

Naturally, following their arrival in America, they maintained their work ethic and zeal to rise in the world. Nicholas, together with his four sisters and two brothers, was born to a father employed as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a practicing nurse. He went on to live in Texas, Kansas City, Arizona and a city named Reston in Virginia. What did he do to capitalize on his pedigree and schooling? A series of high-powered roles were soon his, all working for popular airlines. Hughes Airwest, Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA) — these firms would all at different times name him vp. Most noteworthy, however, is his effort as a creative programmer for the airlines. He is highly respected for one project for US Airways, namely his aircraft maintenance programs that are now used by almost all air travel companies. He would go on to examine making and recording reservations. For both hotels and air travel he produced software to deal with the bulk of the work necessary before that point. Applying what he had learned to a related field, he coded a networked system to automate selling tickets — another first.

Notwithstanding that this was undeniably his specialty, he regularly worked in non-software areas. Responsible positions with American Airlines and American Express followed, and of course he established a business of his own seventeen years ago.

Though he has departed from the roles which first gave him fortune, his capabilities are nonetheless still very much in use. His focus has turned to the architectural questions bound up in the creation of environmentally neutral, technologically advanced upscale condos.
